60 Seconds of Fame, 2011
performance, 3 video cameras, 3 video projectors, 280 participants
This interactive event was inspired by the exhibition Andy Warhol: Motion Pictures at MoMA. 280 participants record their own
“contemporary screen test,” directed by Conrad Ventur, projected on the walls of MoMA’s Marron Atrium in real-time and
uploaded to the PopRally and Andy Warhol: Motion Pictures website. Where Warhol recorded around 370 subjects over two years,
this performance created 280 recordings in 3 hours.
